Terms of Service

Last updated: September 9, 2026

Pricing

The price you see when you book is the price you pay. Prices are based on typical vehicles in average condition.

If the detailer finds conditions that require additional work (heavy contamination, oversized vehicles, or undisclosed damage), the price can be adjusted before work begins. The detailer will explain the reason and the updated price. If you decline the adjusted price, the cancellation policy applies.

Appointments and Cancellations

  • Book appointments through our online booking system or by phone.
  • Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment at no charge.
  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows can result in a cancellation fee.
  • JD Detailing Corporation can cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or scheduling conflicts.

Vehicle Condition

Remove all personal belongings, valuables, and loose items from your vehicle before the appointment. JD Detailing Corporation is not responsible for personal property left in the vehicle.

Before work begins, the detailer will photograph and document any pre-existing damage, including scratches, dents, chips, stains, tears, and mechanical defects. This documentation is available to you on request.

Some stains, odors, discoloration, and surface defects cannot be fully removed. We cannot guarantee the complete removal of any specific stain, odor, or defect.

Delicate and Aged Surfaces

Detailing involves chemicals, water, pressure, and mechanical agitation. You are responsible for disclosing any known issues with your vehicle's surfaces before the appointment, including:

  • Aged or oxidized paint and clear coat.
  • Vinyl wraps, especially those over one year old.
  • Aftermarket window tint.
  • Worn rubber seals and trim.
  • Aftermarket or improperly installed accessories.

These surfaces carry inherent risks that standard detailing procedures cannot eliminate. The detailer will warn you when they spot a delicate surface, but the responsibility to disclose known conditions rests with you. By approving the work, you acknowledge these inherent risks.

Service Location

Provide a flat, paved surface with enough room to work around the vehicle. Mobile detailing produces water runoff that will contact nearby surfaces (driveways, sidewalks, landscaping). This is a normal part of the process.

If the workspace is unsuitable or unsafe, the detailer can reschedule the appointment. The cancellation policy applies.

Inspection and Claims

The detailer will walk you through the completed work before leaving. Inspect the vehicle in direct light at that time so we can address any concerns on the spot.

If you discover an issue after the detailer has left, contact us within 48 hours at 253-443-2438 or jddetailingcorporation@gmail.com. Include photos of the issue. We will assess the claim and determine the appropriate remedy.

Claims made after 48 hours are reviewed at JD Detailing Corporation's discretion.

Liability

JD Detailing Corporation takes responsibility for damage caused by our own negligence during the detailing process.

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage documented before the appointment.
  • Damage caused by defective parts, aftermarket components, or undisclosed vehicle conditions.
  • Inherent risks of delicate or aged surfaces described above.
  • Indirect losses such as loss of vehicle use, lost income, or diminished vehicle value.

Our responsibility for any claim is limited to the direct cost of correcting or repairing the issue caused by our work.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.
